Bendy ePaper Made From TFT

Japanese company Toppan Printing claims to have created a prototype of bendy e-paper using thin film transistors (TFTs).

According to nikkei.net, Toppan's bendy TFT paper has a resolution of 4,800 pixels and is only 320 microns thin, made on a plastic film substrate.

Commercial applications may arrive as soon as 2008, the report said. And Toppan will reduce the price of manufacturing the film by a factor of 10.
